Kim Kardashian Gives Support to Mother: Kim Kardashian is sending out a comforting message to other parents who may be experiencing difficulties with their children’s learning disabilities.
The 43-year-old Kardashians star shared a video of her friend Lauren Sanchez on her Instagram Stories on Friday, September 13. Lauren Sanchez recently made an appearance on The View to discuss her childhood dyslexia and her first children’s book, The Fly Who Flew to Space.
In the video, Sánchez—the fiancée of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos—talked about how, with the help of a professor, she went from having dyslexia and hardly being able to write to being an award-winning journalist.
Kardashian spoke about having a dyslexic child in her Instagram post and found comfort in it.
“I’m reposting this not bc she’s my friend and I love her,” wrote Kardashian, “but because every mom who has struggled with their kids with dyslexia or any learning difference needs to hear that it will be okay.”
Later, in appreciation for the SKIMS founder’s assistance, Sánchez reshared her article along with a few emojis depicting praying hands.
North West, the eldest child of Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West, earlier disclosed on a TikTok livestream that she had been diagnosed with dyslexia. However, Kardashian had requested her to refrain from disclosing too much information to their fans at the time.
North, 11, stated, “Guys, I have dyslexia,” during the October 2023 live, according to E! News. “Do you even know what that is?”
“Northie, you sure are spilling the tea on here,” the reality star retorted to her daughter. Later, she threatened to halt the livestream because “you are just saying way too much.” I deliberately avoid talking about the things you are going through.”
The Kardashians actress is very open about her bond with North. The mother-daughter team previously gained notoriety for their staged dances and livestream chats, and they both have a TikTok account named @kimandnorth.
The mother of four just released some behind-the-scenes photos of the process of filming some of their most well-known dance videos last month. One of the films saw the duo performing the TikTok-famous dance to Charli xcx’s song “Apple.”
North’s phone was glued to the mirror in front of them as the two laughed at their own video in a shared Instagram carousel image on Kardashian’s account. The dance video that the two were shooting in the photo kept playing on the carousel.
Kardashian said, “I might like the forced tik tok dances a little bit 😉,” as the post’s caption.
