Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey announce the birth of their first child: Hailey and Justin Bieber are now official parents!
The 30-year-old singer and his 27-year-old model-turned-entrepreneurial wife had their first child together. Justin verified the information on Friday, August 23.
A post on Instagram said, “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER,” written by Justin. Shortly later, Hailey shared the same picture to her Instagram Stories, adding the child’s name along with a blue heart and teddy bear emojis.
Justin’s mother Pattie Mallette tweeted, “Congratulations, Justin & Hailey. Love you forever, Jack, my baby!”
Mallette’s tweet was retweeted by Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, who commented, “Amen, Congratulations to you, and may God continue to bless our family.”
The pair originally shared the wonderful news that they were having a child together on Instagram in May 2024. A representative for Hailey told Time that the model was just over six months pregnant at the time.
Hailey flaunted her expanding belly in the vow renewal video by donning a long, lace white dress and a veil. She also sent along a few of pictures of herself and Justin in a field. Justin stood behind her and displayed their matching wedding rings, his arms encircling her tummy.
The expectant model only tagged her spouse in her brief caption.
Just two months after becoming engaged, the pair wed in a New York City courtroom in September 2018. Later, as the sun sank in Bluffton, South Carolina, they celebrated with a larger ceremony in front of family and friends, during which they exchanged vows and Tiffany wedding bands.
Hailey addressed the rumours that she was pregnant and discussed whether or not they affected her when she appeared on the cover of GQ Hype in October. “Recently, everybody was like, ‘Oh my God, she is pregnant,’ and that happened to me multiple times before,” she told the news organisation.
Something depressing about this is that, really, how can I get bloated once and not become pregnant? Saying, ‘Oh sure, I do not give an s—,’ would be lying.”
“When there comes a day that that is true, you, you as on the internet, will be the last to know,” she said with candor.
The model stated at the time that, despite her prior discussions on parenting her children away from the spotlight, she felt it was “probably totally unavoidable”.
It is also very personal and private. That is something that will occur when the time comes.”
And, really, the amount of f—— caring that people have is just so hilarious at the end of the day. Let me use my body anyway I choose, and you guys are free to use your bodies whatever you please. Let us just leave it at that,” she murmured.
Although Hailey and Justin have long expressed a desire to create a family, Justin acknowledged in a December 2020 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he was honouring his wife’s wishes regarding their timeframe.
“I plan to have as many [children] as Hailey wants to give birth to. The “Baby” singer remarked at the time, “I would love to have myself a little tribe.” “But, yeah, it is her body and whatever she wants to do. … I think she wants to have a few.”
