Jax Taylor will leave the in-patient mental health facility: According to people, Jax Taylor will shortly be leaving the in-patient facility that he entered in late July.
On Monday, August 19, a spokesman for the Valley star told people, “Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home later this week.” The news was initially broken by TMZ.
The message went on, saying, “He is most looking forward to spending time with his son. It is been an emotional month for him.” With his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, the reality TV star has a 3-year-old kid named Cruz Michael Cauchi.
News about Taylor’s 45-year-old admission to a mental health hospital surfaced on Tuesday, July 30.
In addition to going back home, Taylor is scheduled to resume filming The Valley. As reported by TMZ, the show is sophomore season production commenced early this summer. According to the site, viewers should anticipate an emotional new season and that Taylor plans to talk about his in-patient stay whenever he feels comfortable doing so.
When people enquired further about Taylor’s return to filming, a Bravo spokesman did not answer right away.
“Jax has always been open about his difficulties with mental health, particularly in the last few months on his podcast. When the Vanderpump Rules alum first started treatment weeks ago, a spokesman for him told people that “he has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment.”
He and his family are going through a very trying moment right now. The statement added, “They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter.” On July 30, TMZ broke the story first.
Taylor is receiving treatment as he is divorcing Cartwright, his ex-wife. Following four years of marriage, the ex-couple announced their split in February.

“I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of [her] mental health,” Cartwright stated when she made the announcement on her and Taylor’s collaborative podcast When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany.
In 2015, over ten years ago, the ex-couple first crossed paths. Since then, The Valley, Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, Vanderpump Rules, and more have all featured their relationship. On June 29, 2019, they exchanged vows. Cruz Michael Cauchi, their son, was born on April 12, 2021, about two years later.
Their breakup became public before the February premiere of The Valley, and Cartwright told people that she “needed this space” and felt “a little bit of relief” after parting ways with Taylor.
Taylor told PEOPLE that the couple had “been going through some things for a while now,” so they felt that this was “best for [their] family.”
The second season of The Valley is presently in production. Peacock offers season one for streaming.
