couple nightmare wedding due to air conditioning failure: The dream wedding of a Tennessee couple became a nightmare when the venue’s air conditioning system failed, creating intolerable heat that caused chaos on their special day.

According to local news station Fox 13 Memphis, bride and groom Michelle and Arnold Reed spent years organizing their wedding, which took place at the Lichterman Nature Centre, a space owned by the Memphis Museum of Science & History. However, they discovered that the venue’s air conditioning system had malfunctioned before their July wedding could finally begin.

Michelle informed the outlet, “There was no air conditioning in the entire building.”

They proceeded with the event, having already finalised all of their arrangements, but with regrettable outcomes. The couple’s wedding cake melted and the DJ and video equipment malfunctioned due to the extreme heat inside the venue, according to Michelle.

Before the food was even served, about 100 attendees departed the wedding due to the oppressive environment.

According to Michelle, she and Arnold lost almost $7,000 of the $10,000 they had invested in their wedding, as reported by Fox 13. According to the site, the venue did offer to reimburse the pair $150, but Michelle argued it was too little, too late.

She said, “There is no redo,” to Fox 13. “Those memories cannot be retrieved. Regretfully, I have to remember a day that was really terrible.”

She commented that after spending her entire life anticipating her wedding, it is disappointing to accept. Actually, ever since I was a young child, I had dreamed of being married. Most girls, I believe, have,” Michelle said to the publication.

“We want to deliver a wonderful experience and frequently hold weddings in the Pink Palace Mansion and Lichterman Nature Centre. We all feel the family’s disappointment when this does not work out. We did have problems with the air conditioning system during the aforementioned weekend, an outlet was informed by a venue representative.

“Our staff spent the entire day on the property addressing the impacted unit in collaboration with City of Memphis technicians. Regretfully, the work was not finished in time for the rental to start,” the representative continued.
