Anne Hathaway wearing Pimple Patches: Oscar winners are known to sport pimple patches!
On Friday, August 30, Anne Hathaway posted a sympathetic selfie to her Instagram page. The actress has two star-shaped acne patches in the picture that was taken inside a car.
The forty-one-year-old Mothers of Instinct star teasingly captioned her photo, “Stars, they are just like us ⭐️.”
The Les Misérables actress, who won an Oscar for her performance, accessorized her acne scars with sunglasses and a denim hat.
Her pimple patch selfie was retweeted by one of her nearly 35 million Instagram followers in the trendy “demure” format.
“Observe how she applies a star-shaped patch on her zit rather than popping it? Very thoughtful, modest, and cutesy,” the admirer remarked in the space provided for comments.
The skincare picture also brings to mind the scene where Hathaway’s character Mia Thermopolis, in the 2001 film The Princess Diaries, rips off a pore strip after being caught off guard by a boy.
Hathaway has had a number of relatable beauty and style moments this year, the pimple patch shot being just one of them.
The Idea of You actress revealed a plump lip beauty trick in June. Hathaway wore breathable mesh ballerina flats that same month, which spurred several people to purchase them. Then, in August, she donned a casual yet chic travel day ensemble that her followers could copy for as little as $26.
Hathaway also connected with fans when she danced as if no one else was around at Taylor Swift’s July 19 Eras Tour performance in Germany.
