After Drew McIntyre stole her identity during a WWE promo, AJ Lee—a former WWE superstar and CM Punk’s wife—became the talk of the WWE. When the Scottish Psychiater displayed a bracelet featuring Lee’s name and her pet dog, Larry, the CM Punk brought up Lee’s name.
The two are still at odds, even though Punk stole the bracelet from McIntyre after giving him a severe beating. At Money in the Bank 2024, AJ Lee was supposed to make her WWE comeback, however she was not present.
She has now responded to the feud in her initial statement. In an interview with Haley Miller of ComicBook, AJ Lee admits that she doesn’t even watch her husband wrestle; instead, she doesn’t even know what’s happening in his WWE narrative.
“I laugh, but I have no idea what’s going on.” I’m unusual in that I’m afraid of live wrestling, thus I don’t want to watch my husband wrestle. It’s like some strange juju,” she remarked.
“It’s similar to when you get home from work and check your email,” she went on. That’s kind of how it is. If others are able to comprehend, it feels that way. I’m kind of on the outside, but I get kind of drawn in mainly because of women’s stuff because that’s what I’m interested in,” she said.
She claimed that her spouse is the one who informs her of the current hot female WWE wrestler. According to Lee, her current favorite female celebrities are Naomi and Bayley.
She went on to say that she is proud of her dog Larry and that she is aware of his unexpected fame. “I’ve seen that my dog has suddenly gained fame! Some unexpected merchandise is on the way. I have knowledge of that. However, it’s cool. That he is content, healthy, and doing amazing makes me pleased. She remarked, “I’m proud.”
At WWE Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood PLE, the third and final match in CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s storyline will take place. Both players have won one match apiece, leaving their scores equal. The two will now square off against one another in a Hell in a Cell match. It is highly likely that Punk will triumph and bring an end to this chapter permanently.
