Viola Savis on Her 59th Birthday: Viola Davis thanked love, bravery, curiosity, and love with a birthday meal and Instagram photo shoot during her final year in her 50s.

On August 11th, Viola Davis celebrated her birthday with a great supper and moments. She posted pictures of her celebrations on Instagram, one of which featured a cake with pink, white, and yellow frosting and a candle. In other pictures, she was seen grinning in a car and wearing casual clothing in her kitchen.

Davis used a passage from French author Émile Zola in her Instagram caption, saying, “If you ask me what I came into this life to do, I will tell you: I came to live out loud.”

A video of her family members giving her the cake and singing “Happy Birthday” was also posted by her.

“I found love. I acquired bravery. I became curious. “I am here!” she penned. ” Cheers to my final year of being fifty. I appreciate all of the birthday greetings.

Many in the business sent birthday greetings to Davis. “Happy birthday, beautiful soul,” was how Janelle Monáe sent her best wishes. “Happy birthday,” Harold Perrineau added, while her Hunger Games co-star Rachel Zegler posted, “Happy birthday, beautiful Viola!!!!” “Happy birthday, beautiful,” Taraji P. Henson continued, and James Gunn added, “Happy birthday to a wonderful person all around.”

During an April interview with PEOPLE, Davis disclosed that she never planned to become well-known; it just so occurred. She also mentioned how tough it was for her to see herself as a role model because of her rough upbringing.

“You stop seeing yourself when you grow up in a certain set of circumstances. Because of this, you force yourself to believe that something is possible, which is why you dream big,” said Davis, who is married to producer Julius Tennon and has a 14-year-old daughter named Genesis.

Genesis, the daughter of Davis and Tennon, is currently 14 years old.

Davis is eager to begin the next chapter of her life and has a clear vision for the future. She stated in an interview with PEOPLE that she wanted to find the love of her life and emphasised the value of accepting one’s own journey.

“I feel that how you find meaning is that you have to completely embrace your story,” stated Davis. “The No. 1 regret of the dying is that they lived a life defined by everyone else and not themselves.”

She observed that many people wish they had lived for themselves rather than others after considering the dying person’s last comments.

In light of this, Davis strives to live according to herself and her own terms, even if this necessitates some external disarray. “I am trying to live my life on my terms—everything,” she continued. And have the courage to act on it, despite the chaotic appearance. I want to fit in with who I am.”
