Charli XCX and Billie Eilish collaborated on an updated version of the bonus track called Guess. Charli released a picture of herself standing alongside Eilish earlier this week, hinting at the Guess remix.
A fantastic fresh partnership between two of the biggest performers is coming your way! Together, Charli XCX and Billie Eilish have reworked the bonus tune, Guess. The video for the song, which was directed by Aidan Zamiri, has lots of knickers and a guest appearance by Guess’s producer, The Dare.
Every undergarment seen in the Guess music video with Billie Eilish has been contributed to I Support the Girls. This organisation assists women and those facing homelessness or poverty in maintaining their dignity by gathering and distributing necessities such as undergarments and menstrual hygiene supplies.
Earlier this week, Charli posted an intimate photo of herself posing with the guest artist, cutting off their faces, to tease the Guess remix. Despite her refusal to identify the second performer, online users quickly deduced that it was Billie Eilish from the picture because she had worn the same rings two weeks prior, when she appeared in an interview with Amelia Dimoldenberg for Chicken Shop.
The intriguing part is that Finneas, Eilish’s brother and collaborator, revealed he was in the song by uploading a Charli video teaser on Instagram with the comment, “This was like, too much fun to make.” When Eilish said in a recent interview with Zane Lowe that it was her first time working with another artist in a number of years, fans speculated that she and Finneas had possibly hinted at the Charli duet.
This year, Charli XCX has had a lot of success since she has released some incredible back-to-back songs for her followers. In June 2024, following the release of her single “Brat,” she also dropped a deluxe version of the album featuring three additional tracks, including her most recent hit, “Guess.”
In addition, she has released other remixes from the project, including collaborations with Robyn and Yung Lean on 360, Addison Rae and A.G. Cook on Von Dutch, and Lorde on Girl, So Confusing. In the original version, Charli expressed her dissatisfaction with an unidentified pop artist, which gave rise to the latter single. Lorde joined the remix after Charli revealed in a voicemail that it was about her, and the two artists sorted things out together.
